Don’t search. Match. Meet. Execute.

BizStreet is a private expert network built on vetted expertise, intelligent matching, trusted mandates and Community Commerce. It works best for experts who stay visible, responsive and precise about the problems they solve.

How do I register as an expert?

Sign up and choose Expert, then complete onboarding: your résumé, name and phone, the practice areas and skills you work in, and a few quick questions about how you work.

Signing up is only step one. A person on our team reviews every profile, and matched mandates start once you are verified.

What should my profile say?

Exactly what business problem you solve, for whom, and in which niche. Not a generic CV. Pick your practice areas and specialisms, list the skills you are strongest in, and in About you add the industries you know, the kind of work you take on, your qualifications and the one thing you are known for.

Be specific. “Finance consultant” is broad. “Working-capital restructuring for ₹100–500 crore manufacturing companies” or “Commercial due diligence for PE funds evaluating Indian logistics businesses” gets matched. When a client has that exact problem, you should be the obvious match.

Keep it current. Matching runs on what your profile says, so after a new assignment, credential, sector or geography, update it in Your profile → Edit profile.

How will I know when a mandate is matched to me?

You get an alert and an email for each new mandate matched to you, and again if a client asks to meet you. Every match is listed under Opportunities.

Respond quickly. When several experts are matched to the same need, the first to say they are interested is introduced to the client.

Does a match mean I have won the mandate?

No. A match means your expertise looks relevant to the need. Other experts may be matched too, and the work goes ahead only once you and the client sign the NDA and agree the MOU.

BizStreet makes the introduction. Your expertise and execution win the mandate.

How should I respond to a matched mandate?

Read the brief carefully and accept only if you can genuinely take it on. Saying you are interested introduces you to the client straight away, and bowing out afterwards counts against you: after more than three, new matches pause for 7 days.

Once you are introduced, sign the NDA within 24 hours. Then use the chat to understand the problem and agree scope, deliverables, timelines and dependencies before you explain how your experience fits.

Avoid overselling. Under-promise, over-deliver: your long-term reputation matters more than any single assignment.

How is the engagement formalised?

In two steps, both on BizStreet:

  • The NDA, before chat. Both of you sign the mutual NDA, the binding confidentiality, IP and role-of-BizStreet clauses of our standard MOU, before the chat opens.
  • The MOU, before delivery. Once you have agreed terms in chat, either of you drafts the MOU on the engagement: scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, fee, payment terms, expenses, taxes, confidentiality and conflicts. Both of you sign it, and you can mark the work delivered only after that.

You are still free to sign your own engagement letter or contract as well. Never start an important mandate with ambiguous expectations.

Who decides my fee?

You and the client, directly. The fee you agree is recorded in the MOU, and the client pays you directly. BizStreet takes no commission; its revenue is subscriptions only.

Price for the complexity of the mandate, the value you create, the specialist knowledge it needs and the time it takes, not just the hours.

Will clients rate me?

Yes. When the work is completed, the client can rate you and leave a review, which becomes part of your track record on BizStreet. Reputation compounds:

Responsiveness → Quality → Delivery → Reviews → Trust → Better mandates

I am not getting enough matches. What should I do?

First, check your plan: Go includes 1 matched mandate a month, Pro 5, Grow unlimited. See plans. Then review your positioning:

  • Is my expertise too broad, or is my niche clearly defined?
  • Have I said what kind of work I take on?
  • Are my credentials and recent assignments up to date?
  • Am I active in BizStreet communities and events?
  • Am I responding quickly enough?

Senior mandates are relationship-led and timing-sensitive. Some experts receive opportunities quickly; others need sustained activity before the right one appears. Patience matters. Staying active matters more.

Can I build my own community?

Yes, on Pro (1) and Grow (2). Request one from Community, and our team sets it up after a short interview. Build it around your specialisation, industry or geography, and grow an ecosystem of clients, peers and collaborators.

Share what only a practitioner can: cases, judgment, patterns and lessons from execution, not generic information AI can reproduce. The goal is not only to find projects. It is to build professional capital around your expertise.

What is Community Commerce?

Business that comes from trusted relationships, shared expertise and relevant introductions rather than anonymous bidding:

Trust → Relevance → Conversation → Engagement → Execution → Reputation

Our founder, CA Rishabh Kumar S, explores it in his book The Networker – 7 Sutras of Community Commerce.

Stay relevant. Stay visible. Stay responsive.

Your profile gets you matched.

Your responsiveness gets you considered.

Your delivery gets you reviewed.

Your reputation gets you the next mandate.
